Paul Maier is a professor of Ancient History at Western Michigan University.

My opinion: I would take a biblical historian's word over any documentary producer, or even James Cameron!

indeed there truly is nothing new under the sun, and 2000 years later it's same old, same old. people are being martyred today as they were then, and i think it's important for us to remain aware that the waves will never stop (if anything, they should certainly increase.
